Hi there! And welcome to our page where we share as much valuable information as we can about staying safe as a van lifer.

My name is James McDonald, and together with my partner, Nancy, I have always loved seeing the world from the road. Since retiring, we have restored a beautiful old van and now spend much of our time seeking out beautiful places to visit. 

We have met some of the most amazing people on the road, but I’ll be honest, there have been times when we have not felt the safest and those times can be scary. So we have created this space to share the best advice, products, tips and resources we have found to stay safe on the road.
